Industrial, national and international projects
I am currently working on the following project(s):
Past projects on which I contributed, while at
the "Réseaux et Performances" group of the LIP6
laboratory:
-
DSE ("Distributed Systems Engineering") (IST Project)
The DSE Project is intended to support Distributed Systems Engineering
activities, facilitating distributed collaboration on the whole System
Engineering LifeCycle in complex and international projects.
DSE puts special emphasis on Design and Verification activities involving
a large and multi-level customer-supplier network.

official project page.

EDISON ("European Distributed Interactive Simulation Over
Networks") (Esprit Project).
The aim of this project is to develop, experiment and exploit a generic
and integrated architecture for distributed interactive simulation
facilities.
This European project, sponsored by the CEC, includes several industrial
and academic partners. The pilot applications come from the space, avionic
and automobile areas.
The LIP6, along with the Research University of Stuttgart (RUS), focuss
on the networking aspects. This project is complementary to
the Placebo project since the target applications involve a limited
number of sites but have more stringent requirements.

official project page.

(compressed) postscript or
word formats.

DIS/ATM, also called
PLACEBO, a DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulation) project.
This project studies the networking requirements of a Distributed
Interactive Simulation application, and to propose an appropriate RSVP
over IPv6 over ATM communication service.
In addition to the LIP6, this project includes the LAAS-CNRS laboratory
of Toulouse, the RODEO group of INRIA Sophia-Antipolis, and Dassault
Electronique which provides the application.
The general configuration is
here.

The DIS/ATM project relies on:
SAFIR (previously called MIRIHADE).
This ATM testbed is the basis of several projects, including Placebo.
More information can be found in document (compressed ps):
``Protocoles haut débit et applications multimédias
coopératives distribuées: bilan des expérimentations
sur SAFIR'' (in French), Décembre 1998.
